Dr. Javier Pinilla-Ibarz is head of the lymphoma section in the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is known internationally for his expertise in chronic leukemia. He received his MD from University of Zaragoza Medical School, completed fellowships at La Paz University Hospital in Madrid and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and did residencies at La Paz as well as New York Presbyterian/Cornell Medical Center.
