Chiara D’Agostino is a former high school Italian teacher, a model, and a breast cancer advocate. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer at age 43 and underwent chemotherapy, single mastectomies and reconstruction.
After having an issue with an implant, she wound up in the emergency room where she was told that her breast cancer had progressed to stage four. Even though she had to have her breasts removed, it hasn’t stopped her from being herself. Her advice is to never think any less of yourself after a diagnosis or a mastectomy. You are still you.
