Amy Brown is the nurse manager of gynecologic oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She has been a nurse at the hospital since 2005, when she started there as a travel nurse. In 2008, she became a staff nurse. Since then, Brown has been promoted to assistant nurse manager, and then to manager.
Brown received her master of arts degree in thanatology — the study of death and loss — from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. She earned her nursing degree from Montana State University-Bozeman.
